Preamble

GCom Internet is a wholly owned subsidiary of Graaf Computer Systems Pty. Ltd., and represents the commercial Internet and web hosting operation of that company. Within this document, GCom Internet and Graaf Computer Systems Pty. Ltd. shall be accepted as interchangeable terms, representing the one ultimate commercial entity.

Data Collection

GCom Internet does not collect data related to visitors of our site other than basic count values used to determine the general relevance of the information we provide.

GCom Internet does collect data via online forms used by visitors to create accounts with respect to ISP and web hosting services. In such cases, only the data specifically entered into the form by the visitor is collected.

With the exception of encrypted user authentication data required to allow clients to log in to ISP or web hosting services, GCom Internet stores all client data electronically on offline servers.

GCom Internet does not retain any client credit card, bank account, or other financial data longer than is required to process any current transaction.

Data Use

GCom Internet retains client data solely for the purposes of administration of the client's ISP or web hosting account.

GCom Internet does not provide client data to any other party by way of sale, rental, lease or any other arrangement.

Cookies

GCom Internet uses session cookies to provide escalated security access to logged in users.

Spam

GCom Internet takes a zero tolerance approach to the sending of Unsolicited Commercial Email (UCE) or spam over its network. Very simply, this means that Clients of GCom Internet may not use or permit others to use its network to transact in UCE. The Client may not host, or permit hosting of, sites or information advertised by UCE from other networks. Violations of this policy carry severe penalties, including termination of service and the imposition of fees to cover the costs of any financial damages caused.

We consider UCE or spam to be any email message for which a spam complaint is raised by a message recipient, and where the Client cannot produce proof of double opting in on the part of that recipient.

Quite simply, to avoid any problems or costs, do not spam from, through, or in connection with your GCom Internet account.
